Chased by an Arrogant Zillionaire Chapter 3:
“Zofia, I’ve brought formula milk for the kids, and here are fruits and vegetables to help with your nutrition,” Juliana placed the shopping bag on the table.
“Thanks, Jul, you’re so thoughtful towards me and the kids,” Zofia could only stare at Juliana, who had been so genuinely helpful to her and the children.
“For my friend, this wonder woman here, I’m ready to help whenever you need me,” Juliana hugged Zofia and sat beside her.
Juliana dearly loved Zofia, the orphan girl who had no one else but herself.
“Zofia, don’t you intend to find the father of your children? Raising four twin kids isn’t easy, Zofia,” Juliana stroked the baby’s forehead who was in Zofia’s arms.
Zofia fell into deep thought. Juliana was right; she had just graduated from medical school and hadn’t been able to earn much yet.
“What about your child’s illness? It requires a lot of money for treatment. Can you afford it?” Juliana didn’t take her eyes off Zofia’s increasingly bewildered face.
“The problem is, I myself don’t know who the father of my child is,” Zofia regretted her foolishness in the past, closing off access to the man who had slept with her to take responsibility. Juliana looked equally puzzled.
“I’ll look for a job as soon as possible. There’s a big hospital offering me a job.”
Juliana breathed a sigh of relief, “I believe a brilliant doctor like you won’t have difficulty finding a job. Start working after you’ve recovered your health. As for the children, leave them to me. I’ll help take care of them.” Juliana offered to help Zofia.
Zofia was even more touched by Juliana’s kindness towards her. Although Zofia wasn’t from a wealthy background like Juliana, it seemed Juliana never saw it as a difference.
It was Juliana who had tried her best to help her during her pregnancy and delivery yesterday.
Zofia herself didn’t expect that her relationship with a gigolo back then would lead her to become pregnant and give birth to quadruplets. A rare occurrence in America.
Juliana picked up the newspaper lying on the table, flipping through its pages quickly. Unintentionally, her eyes caught a large headline on the front page.
“Zofia, look at this announcement. Isn’t this your photo? A wealthy businessman is searching for you everywhere, even offering a reward of one hundred million to anyone who finds you,” Juliana’s eyes widened in amazement as she read the announcement on the front page of the newspaper.
Zofia glanced at the newspaper held by Juliana. It had been lying on the table unnoticed by Zofia, who was busy with her babies.
“Let me see.” Zofia gently laid down her sleeping baby, who was nestled among her siblings on the bed.
Zofia blinked her eyes as she saw the photo displayed in the announcement. The woman sleeping under the blanket was indeed her.
“Xavier Delta Donovan, a young businessman, CEO of New Starlight Consortium?” Zofia read the text in the announcement.
“The handsome businessman is looking for you? Could he be the father of your children?” Juliana speculated.
Zofia didn’t answer. She grabbed her phone and typed Xavier Delta Donovan’s name into the google search bar.
Zofia’s brown eyes widened as she saw the handsome face of Xavier Delta Donovan on her phone screen. He was the man who had spent the night with her. The man she had thought was a gigolo. The man who had frightened her with his arrogance.
Zofia threw the newspaper from her hand.
“What, Zofia? Isn’t this good news? You finally found the father of your children. And he’s also looking for you,” Juliana looked puzzled to see Zofia looking scared instead.
“That man… that crazy man can’t possibly be the father of my children,” Zofia shook her head vehemently.
“Zofia, what’s wrong?” Juliana looked concerned seeing Zofia frightened.
“Please help me, Jul.” Zofia reached for Juliana’s hand.

“Have you found any information about that woman?” Xavier sat in his office chair, leaning back.
His cold, expressionless face with sharp eyes was fixed on his personal assistant, James Murphy.
The tall and sturdy man stood upright in front of Xavier.
“Yes, sir, I have some good news for you, Mr. Xavier.”
“What is it?” Xavier raised an eyebrow.
With a gesture of his hand, James called someone from outside the room. A beautiful woman entered, carrying a baby boy.
Xavier furrowed his brow, staring at the woman now standing before him.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Juliana, Sir,” the woman, who turned out to be Juliana, replied.
“What brings you here?” Xavier still hadn’t risen from his seat.
“I’m here to bring Aiden. Your child with Zofia.” Juliana explained her purpose for coming, a little timidly.
No wonder Zofia was afraid; Xavier’s cold and arrogant demeanor was enough to make anyone tremble.
“Zofia?” Xavier recalled the face of the woman who had never left his mind.
“Do you know Zofia?” Xavier began to show interest.
“Zofia is my friend. And I’m here to bring Aiden. The child conceived between you and Zofia that night.” Juliana spoke tentatively as Xavier continued to stare at her sharply.
“Is it true that the child is mine?” Xavier approached Juliana and looked at Aiden’s face, which bore a slight resemblance to his own.
“There’s no doubt, Sir. I know who Zofia is and what kind of girl she is. Zofia has never been involved with anyone else but you. If you don’t believe it, you can do a DNA test on this child.” Juliana tried to assure Xavier.
Xavier shifted his gaze to James. The imposing man nodded.
“I have already conducted a DNA test previously, and it can be confirmed that this baby is indeed your biological child with Zofia.” James handed over a piece of paper confirming that Aiden was indeed Xavier’s child with Zofia.
“Do you really know Zofia?” Xavier still wasn’t entirely convinced.
Juliana took out her phone and showed pictures of herself with Zofia, looking very close. This man wasn’t easily fooled. It’s no wonder Zofia wasn’t so sure about living with him.
“So where is Zofia now?” Xavier stared sharply at Juliana, who fell silent.
“A car accident killed Miss Zofia’s life. She passed away a few days after giving birth to Mr. little Aiden. And considering Miss Zofia had no family, Miss Juliana took the initiative to bring Mr. Aiden to you. I have checked Miss Zofia’s death certificate, Sir.” James handed another document stating Zofia’s death due to a car accident some time ago.
Xavier read each letter, stating Zofia’s death, the girl who had captured his attention all this time.
“Zofia’s dead?” Xavier still couldn’t believe the news he received.
“It can’t be, Zofia can’t be dead.” Xavier shook his head, his body suddenly feeling weak.
“Sir!” Quickly, James caught his master, who almost stumbled.
